The Client

Hockley Valley Resort is located 45 min north of Toronto near the town of Orangeville.  The small 104 room luxury resort boast some impressive amenities, including a 18 hole Scottish links championship golf course, a full service European spa, on-site 5 star dinning, skiing, hiking and mountain bike trails and much more.

The Program

Perhaps one of the most complex and most progressive client we have to date.  The management team at hockley Valley understood the value a coffee program could bring to the guest experience and opted for our seasonal micro lot program.  This program included/includes the following:

-seasonal rotation of Micro lot coffees
-onsite barista training
-in-room French press program
-micro lot espresso program
-on-site barista training
-signage throughout hotel on coffee farm
-coffee and chocolate educational seminars for corporate clients
-integration of h20 water without waste program
-redesign of corporate coffee stations to reduce waste
-desert and coffee pairings in dinning room
-Sense Appeal Cafe in ski cafe (open dec 26 - mar 26)

Hockley Valley Resort Launches Sense Appeal Cafe

Last week the management at Hockley Valley Resort called and came up with a brilliant idea.  "We want a Sense Appeal Cafe in our Ski Cafeteria.”  We had 1 week to pull it off and boy did we ever, although I think I lost some friends in the process.  Anyway, thanks guys for pulling this off over the holidays.

Hockley Valley Resort Charity Golf Tournament

So this past week was the Hockley Valley Charity Golf Tournament and we were there in full swing pulling shots of espresso and serving some really good single origin Costa Ricans.  Congrats on a successful event.
